Graffiti Tui

18th March 2017

Tui

This is one of the small sections of the wall on Lorne Street facing the Auckland Central Library, that has had various murals and graffiti officially painted on in the last eight months. This one is of a single Tui, a New Zealand native bird, and is signed by J Coldham.

It appeared at or about the same time the mural by French artist Jean-Marc Calvet and members of the public was created in February 2017. This is next to the mural painted for the Matariki celebrations last year rather than next to the area worked during the Jean-Marc Calvet workshop.
